Scalia Speaks At Dedication of Law Library scolding the croud for whining fist raised U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia spoke at the dedication of the new Louise and Erskine Wood Sr. Hall law library at the Lewis and Clark Law School on Sunday, February 10th. Outside, a crowd of several hundred protestors gathered at a Rally for Justice sponsored by the Northwest Justice Coalition. The protesters expressed concern about Scalia's opinions on civil rights, workers' rights, abortion rights and the environment, and anger over the 5 to 4 Supreme Court decision which ended the recount in the 2000 presidential election.
